As spring blooms around us, it’s the perfect time to plant some trees!

With Earth Month celebrations and Arbor Day in April, the Formstack for Good (FS4G) team put their heads together for an internal campaign to plant as many trees as possible through Formstack Forests in partnership with One Tree Planted.

Formstack Earth Week

The official Earth Week is the week leading up to Earth Day, which landed on Saturday, April 22nd this year. We’re all about planting trees though, so our focus was on celebrating our efforts on Arbor Day, the following Friday, and Formstack Earth Week was born.

There were two main ways that we encouraged ‘Stackers to get involved in planting trees during Formstack Earth Week.

  1. We coined Tuesday, April 25th as “Tree Taco Tuesday,” where we put our HeyTaco Rewards to work by adding various tree-planting rewards to HeyTaco, a fun way to enhance our remote culture through Slack. For every reward redeemed on Tree Taco Tuesday, the FS4G team doubled down on the tree planting donation.
  2. To celebrate Earth, we encouraged ‘Stackers to get outside and enjoy nature! Whether they planted something new or simply shared photos of their time outdoors, the FS4G team pledged to plant an additional two trees per photo shared in Slack during Formstack Earth Week.

We were blown away by the response we received from ‘Stackers. With everyone's efforts combined, we were able to plant 7,170 trees, nearly half of our goal to plant 15,000 trees in 2023!

Ready to get planting?

Together, we can create a greener, healthier planet for ourselves and future generations, so let's roll up our sleeves and get planting! Join us in our mission to plant 15,000 trees in 2023 through Formstack Forests by upgrading your account, leaving a review on the Salesforce App Exchange, or donating directly to our partner, One Tree Planted.
